Christians, in antiquity, have turned to the psalms for worship, encouragement, and hope and rightly so; The psalms, in a unique way, reveal the character and heart of God. The Psalms reveal a just, loving, compassionate, and holy God. At the same time the Psalms give hope to those who are weary, burdened, and overwhelmed. God uses the imperfections and doubts of His people, to reveal His love in the Psalms.
