Why Membership?
Becoming a member of a local church is an important part of our discipleship as followers of Jesus. Being a part of a larger community of believers, membership provides an opportunity to grow in faith and serve others. By regularly attending worship services and participating in church life, giving and serving individuals can develop relationships with other believers who can encourage and support them in their spiritual journey as they follow Jesus.
How do I become a member?
Becoming a member is a five-step process outlined as follows:
Take our membership class
Our classes are offered at church about once a month after service. In it, you’ll hear about the story of Redemption, our core values, why membership is important, and the vision for our church.
Complete our questionnaire
After you’ve attended our membership class, complete our questionnaire which can be found below.

Meet with a Redemption leader or pastor
We’d love to meet with you and hear your story! After signing the membership covenant, a leader of member of our staff will be in touch with you shortly to schedule a meeting with you.
Publicly affirm your membership vows before the church
We’ll have a membership affirmation during one of our Sunday services, during which you will affirm your membership vows before the church. This will officially conclude your membership process. Review the membership vows here.
