Week 3 Theme: Prayers for Our City

Read: Isaiah 25

Reflect: San Francisco is a unique city. Some of the richest people in the world reside here in luxury, yet what’s heartbreaking is that many of our streets are filled with people who literally have no homes. Many have looked for solutions to our city's homelessness issues, but what we read here is that the God of the Bible is a stronghold to the poor and needy, and a shelter to those who need shelter. He sees and He values those that are often overlooked and cast aside. As believers in this kind of God, we ought to care about and work to restore the broken parts of our city and society that casts aside the poor and needy. Spend some time praying for God's protection and provision for those in need.
