Why we have membership...

We see church membership as our way to live out God's intention for every Christian to live in biblical community. Paul says in Romans 12...

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."

Membership is our way to formally live out the Bible's call to belong to one body. Are you living in biblical community? Have you been attending Redemption for a while but wonder what committing to membership means? Please consider attending one of our membership classes happening several Sundays throughout the year. It is a great way for you to learn what the bible says about church membership and how we value it at Redemption. Come with questions, come curious and come hungry (literally, we'll feed you). 

We require members to participate in a few steps prior to being installed as members...

1. Attend a Membership Class (if no classes are scheduled in the near future, proceed to steps 2 & 3)
2. Thoroughly review our Membership Covenant
3. Schedule a meeting with a pastor
4. Sign our Membership Covenant
